Anchor has eight large, fully racked-out units - three ambient, four chilled and one frozen - as well as ample yard space for outside storage. The stores are maintained to very high standards of housekeeping and are all suitable for foodstuffs.

Its temperature controlled chambers are maintained to even higher standards and are all organic approved. The four chilled areas are maintained between 4 and 6 Celsius and the frozen chamber between -18 and -20 Celsius. Anchor has monthly visits from a pest control contractor, who also audits them twice a year. In addition to the usual internal and external rodent bait points they also monitor for moths and crawling insects.

In addition to its daily handling and despatch operations, Anchor can also provide re-packing and labelling, machine wrapping and order picking, as well as other fulfilment services. All stock movements and locations are maintained using our LocateIT warehouse management system.
